Genre: Romance. What else?
Fiction Type: idk yet. Just a couple paragraphs right now
Rating: teen...pg13 movie I would say
Contains: a thunderstorm. And Strong, STRONG sexual references
Status: First Draft. And it's incomplete.
Fiction Type: Short story, eventually
Rating: It's a little saucy, and yet pretty mild. I think it would be more appreciated by older audiences.
Contains: a shower scene. A very yummy shower scene..
Status: Unfinished, but I'm quite proud of what I've got.
Since I have a lot of spare time to do nothing but daydream while I study abroad, I've started to write two romance stories. One is more well developed than the other, but they're both NOT finished and I only get around to writing a paragraph a day. I'm a little stuck, so ANY ideas would be absolutely lovely. Cheers!
Hey guys! My name’s Diana, and I’m also a member of Gather.com. I wanted to let you know about this awesome competition in which the prize is a publishing contract! Have any of you ever written a novel-length manuscript in the romance genre? If so, you might want to check this out.
The competition works sort of like American Idol. You have until August 22 to send in your full-length manuscript, and to post the first chapter in the group First Chapters Romance Writing Competition. After August 27, other users on Gather will vote on the chapters they like best. 25 authors will move onto round two, and further voting will narrow it down to the cream of the crop.
Five finalists will have the chance to win a guaranteed publishing contract, along with a $5000 cash advance! You can go to First Chapters Romance Writing Competition for more info. This sounds like an awesome opportunity; I wish I had a finished manuscript of my own! For all of you who do, I just wanted to bring this to your attention.

“Who does that jerk think he is? Well he just lost the best thing that has ever happened and ever will happen to him. And if he thinks I’m ever coming back to him, he’s insane. I don’t care if he apologizes and buys the biggest bouquet of roses, he’ll never have me back,” Rachel poured out to her friend while trying to fight back the tears.
“You’re completely right Rachel,” she responded linking elbows with Rachel. “And as your best friend I am going to take you out for a night that will get you to forget about him and to see that you can be happier without that idiot.” She dragged Rachel, who was feigning resistance, toward the door.
. . .
Hurray for 2006!
